Job summary

ERM is seeking a Technical Partner to grow our Natural Resources practice, focusing on power, renewable energy, and technology clients across North America. The hybrid role can be based in any US office with leadership in biology, restoration, and permitting.

You will lead business development, mentor teams, and guide complex environmental solutions while expanding ERM's market presence and technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting.
• Proven leadership in mitigation and ecorestoration, including endangered species and habitat conservation.
• Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America.
• Strong business development track record, generating and delivering multi-million-dollar programs.
• Expertise in HCPs, and regional permitting.
• Experience establishing mitigation banks and writing vegetation management plans.
• Existing client relationships in the Power, Diversified energy and/or Technology sector that can be leveraged for growth.
• Familiarity with utility commissions, regulatory agencies, and emerging sustainability trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and client engagement activities within the Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors.
• Provide senior technical leadership for biological resources, ecological restoration, habitat conservation, and environmental permitting programs.
• Support clients through project planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases.
• Develop and grow key client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor and develop technical staff and project managers.
• Collaborate with ERM partners and service line leaders to support regional and national growth initiatives.
• Drive project delivery excellence while meeting financial, safety, and quality objectives.
