Job summary

Henkel Corporation, a global leader in laundry and home care brands, is seeking a Technical Operator for the 2nd shift (2:30pm-10:30pm) in West Hazleton, PA. You will troubleshoot and repair packaging line equipment and operate lines to keep production moving, with a $1.25 per hour shift differential.

Typical duties include TBM maintenance, line changeovers with minimal downtime, and routine equipment centerline adherence.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical issues on packaging line equipment.
• Operate packaging line equipment with focus on uptime and quality.
• Basic to intermediate mechanical tasks and preventive maintenance.

What you´ll do

• The Technical Operator is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues on packaging line equipment while minimizing the interruption to production. The individual in this role is also expected to operate equipment on a regular basis when maintenance issues are not addressed.
• Troubleshoot, repair and make adjustments to packaging line equipment
• Clean and change over packaging line equipment as necessary with minimal downtime
• Perform Time Based Maintenance (TBM) tasks on equipment
• Operate packaging line equipment
• Follow and maintain equipment centerlines
• Perform basic to intermediate mechanical activities
