Job summary

Henkel Corporation, part of the Adhesive Technologies business unit, is seeking a production-oriented team member for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am–2:30pm). The role involves operating and setting up production equipment, assembling cartons, labeling containers and ensuring packaging instructions are followed.

• Set-up, filling and packaging equipment as required.
• Adjusts dials, gauges, photo eyes, torque, labelers, tape machines and other equipment to positively affect production operations.
• Assemble cartons, pour/package products and label cartons/containers per shop order instructions.
• Identify production problems and advise corrective actions; inform supervisor of issues.
• Obtain input from operators and leads for day-to-day tasks based on schedule.

What you´ll do

• Administers machine operations, as required to accomplish production objectives.
• Set-up, filling and packaging equipment as required.
• Adjusts dials, gauges, photo eyes, torque, labelers, tape machines, date coders, weigh scales and other related equipment, as required to positively affect production operations.
• Assemble cartons, pour/package products at required quantities and label cartons/ containers as required for products according to shop order packaging instructions.
• Identifies production problems both current and potential and advises corrective actions. Ensures that Production Supervisor or Shift Leader is advised of problems or concerns.
• Obtain input from Chemical Operator, Shift Leader, Production Team Leader, and/or Plant Supervisor for the tasks required for the day based on schedule.
