Job summary

Henkel Corporation, a leader in adhesives and specialty coatings, is seeking an operator to work the 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm) in its Adhesive Technologies unit in Cleveland, Ohio. The role focuses on safe machine operation, batch ticketing and production records.

You will set up equipment, monitor quality, and perform daily cleaning of tanks and lines. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires, with an additional shift differential of $1.50.

• Ability to follow batch tickets precisely.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely following instructions.
• Follow batch tickets to ensure correct formulations.
• Set up or adjust equipment per manufacturing specs.
• Monitor output quality and discard faulty product as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Clean tanks, valves, hoses, machines and related areas as directed.

What you´ll do

• Operates machines and production equipment safely in accordance with instructions
• Follow Batch Tickets
• Sets up or adjusts equipment according to manufacturing specifications
• Monitors the quality of output to identify or discard re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintains accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed
• Cleaning of tanks, valves, hoses, machines, vessels, floors, walls, ceilings and all other areas or equipment as assigned by the shift lead or supervisor(s) is a daily expectation of all chemical mixing operators.
