RPM Entertainment Productions | Buffalo, NY | Full-Time, Hourly plus Bonus/Show pay
Reporting to: Director of Technical Operations
At RPM, we deliver custom scenic environments and high-energy live experiences. We are technically rigorous, creatively ambitious, resourceful under pressure, and willing to roll up our sleeves. We work hard together and for each other. We don’t just set up AV—we orchestrate moments that captivate audiences and leave a lasting impression.
We’re looking for a Technical Operations Lead / Video Technician who lives and breathes that kind of energy. Someone who can design signal flows in the shop, run point on show site, and elevate our technical execution on every single production. It’s more than setting up gear, it’s delivering experiences that matter.
You’ll have the opportunity to improve technical workflows, influence equipment and technology decisions, and help establish the systems and standards that support RPM's continued growth.
If you’ve got 4+ years of live event experience, a passion for storytelling through technology, and a hunger to grow with an expanding company, we want you on our team.
This is a 60/40 split between high-impact live event execution and shop-based technical orchestration. You'll work across the full production lifecycle, from building the technical plan to leading execution on site and preparing the team and equipment for what’s next.
At RPM, our mission is simple: Learn and grow every day. Be and do your best. That will deliver the results our clients expect.
We believe the best work comes from people who stay curious, take ownership, share what they know, and look for ways to get better. We bring that mindset to our craft, our team, and every client relationship.
Every project is different. Every client has a goal worth understanding. Our job is to listen, ask the right questions, solve the right problems, and use our technical and creative skills to help make those goals a reality.
You’ll join RPM at an important stage of growth, working closely with our operations leadership to strengthen our technical operations, improve how we prepare and execute productions, and help shape what comes next.
There's plenty to build here—and plenty of room for the right person to make a meaningful impact.
Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
4+ years in a live event production environment. We will interview those under 4 years.
Full-time hourly plus Show/Bonus pay.
