Job summary

RPM Entertainment Productions in Buffalo, NY seeks a Technical Operations Lead / Video Technician to design signal flows, lead on-site show execution, and raise technical standards across productions.

You’ll split time 60/40 between live event leadership and shop pre-production, building technical plans, coordinating equipment, and mentoring crews. 4+ years in live event production preferred; travel may be required regionally.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in live event production, AV, rental or touring environments.
• Experience leading on-site technical teams and coordinating productions.
• Ability to troubleshoot across video, audio, and control systems.
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site video deployments including live switching and signal routing.
• Design technical plans, signal flows, and show control workflows.
• Coordinate shop prep, equipment readiness, and show packs.
• Collaborate with clients to execute creative visions on site.
