Compensation:
  • $157,382 - $204,302 annually
Role Overview:

The Technical Marketing Manager creates and manages technical content to educate and persuade technical audiences, bridging the gap between product development and customers. They develop strategies, write documentation, and manage channels to communicate technical value to customers and internal teams. They also manage marketing initiatives related to business development, sales development, implements marketing efforts by creating and managing advertising campaigns, trade shows, webinars, and other marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages the promotion and direction of the marketing activities, improvement of company's product image, market data, and information.
  • Identifies and evaluates marketing strategies, based on knowledge of organization objectives, market characteristics, cost and markup factors.
  • Determines the demand for products and services offered by an organization and its competitors.
  • Manages and coordinates activities of the marketing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Identifies potential customers.
  • Digital Marketing Management
    • Responsible for the company website managing the website's overall structure, content, and performance.
    • Develop and Implement search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies. Formulate and execute a comprehensive SEO plan to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic. This includes keyword research and optimizing website content, structure, and elements to enhance search engine visibility.
    • Monitor website traffic, rankings, and other performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Content Creation
    • Develops and manages technical content, including white papers, documentation, case studies, and social media content.
  • Strategy
    • Defines and implements technical marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Communication
    • Translates complex technical information into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration
    • Works closely with product management, business development, sales, and engineering teams to ensure effective product communication and launch support.
  • Market Research
    • Conducts market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Customer Engagement
    • Engages with customers, provides product feedback, and identifies customer success stories.
  • Product Launch Support
    • Supports product launches by developing marketing materials and coordinating with other teams.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years in a Technical Marketing Management role with proven success.
  • Solid working knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Canva, Zoom, Constant Contact, etc.
  • Experience with multiple market research methods
  • Experience with SEO/SEM campaigns
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office, specifically Excel, web analytics, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical Bachelor of Science degree (engineering, computer science, math, or physics)
  • Master of Business Administration
  • Knowledge of various marketing platforms such as Constant Contact, Canva, Adobe, BeeFree, ZoomInfo, Gong, etc.
Other Qualifications:
  • Successfully pass background check for cybersecurity access requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of the technology and products being marketed. Strong desire for experience in equipment reliability and condition monitoring with a technical undergraduate degree
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills to organize and execute marketing initiatives.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address customer needs and market trends.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Cybersecurity Role Expectations:
  • Candidate will be responsible for reviewing policies and procedures related to cybersecurity and those relevant to the functions of their role.
  • Candidate is expected to maintain a cybersecure work environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to make and receive audio and video conference calls
  • Must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
  • Must be able to use hands to type, handle products and tools, and navigate a computer keyboard
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
