Job summary

Michelin is seeking a proactive Technical Activity Manager at the Woodburn, Indiana plant to lead the maintenance team and drive lean improvements across equipment performance, quality, efficiency, availability, and cost. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, and 3-5 years of supervision.

Strong safety knowledge, maintenance planning and CMMS experience are required.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for personnel and the environment.
Lead a team of Maintenance Supervisors (2) and oversee 20 maintenance staff.
Develop and optimize long-term maintenance plans.
Oversee maintenance performance: availability, cost, reliability, and efficiency.
Implement proactive maintenance to ensure equipment durability.
Define and apply maintenance strategies aligned with goals.
Adopt maintenance management tools and methodologies.
Develop succession plans and training for maintenance staff.
Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the network.
