Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Technical Leader to drive architectural design and execution across data modeling and platform projects. You will bridge business requirements with technical implementation, guiding the team in test-driven development, CI/CD, and automated deployment.

You will report to the Director of Digital Data & Infrastructure and operate in a hybrid setting from Milwaukee, WI or Mayfield Heights, OH, collaborating with Product Owners and Designers to deliver scalable

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
Legal authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
Occasional international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Lead the team accountable for the design and architectural direction of the product.
Guide projects on coding practices, CI/CD and automated deployment.
Oversee technical design decisions at team and product levels.
Coach the team as a hands-on working leader removing blockers.
Identify and remove technical impediments.
Align the roadmap with the technical stack in partnership with Product Owners
Advise on story creation and acceptance criteria with Designers.
Seek better solutions and challenge the status quo to improve outcomes.
Provide a roadmap for software engineering practices for higher code quality.
Build reusable and scalable components with Product Owners and Data Owners.
Develop budgets and monitor expenditures and IT system performance.
