Job summary
Rockwell Automation seeks a Technical Leader to guide architecture, data modeling, and platform projects. You will lead a hands-on team, drive CI/CD practices, and align development with business goals while removing roadblocks and mentoring engineers.
You will report to the Director of Digital Data & Infrastructure in a hybrid role based in Milwaukee, WI or Mayfield Heights, OH, collaborating across sites on enterprise-scale data solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Typically requires 5 years of management experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required; no visa sponsorship.
- Occasional international travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architectural decisions for product features and data platforms.
- Coach and guide the technical team; remove impediments and drive best practices.
- Align roadmaps with Product Owners and stakeholders; manage backlog priorities.
- Champion CI/CD, automated testing, and scalable software delivery.
- Oversee budget, expenditures, and performance of information technology systems.
- Research and implement strategic technology solutions and cloud/DevOps approaches.
