Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable data management solutions using DevOps practices and Microsoft PaaS platforms. The role supports DA&I initiatives across the company and requires participation in 24/7/365 coverage with rotations.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience with data management concepts, Azure services, and containerization. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS, or related field.
• Legal authorization to work in the US. Sponsorship for employment visas is not available.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test data management solutions and interfaces.
• Architect data structures to provision Data as a Service.
• Support DA&I projects for internal and external customers.
• Develop and test infrastructure components in cloud and edge environments.
• Monitor industry trends and adopt new technologies.
• Manage the DevOps pipeline deployment model.
• Implement software across all environments.
• Use containerization and collaborate with engineers/architects to update architecture.
• Support and enhance applications.
• Write high-quality, regulation-compliant code.
• Collaborate with analysts and product owners to define requirements.
• Assist colleagues through change and change management.
