Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Technical Lead for the Service Infrastructure team to drive the technical vision and lead engineers building scalable infrastructure products for internal and external customers. You will mentor engineers, shape roadmaps with engineering managers, and ensure solutions meet user needs while advancing SOA adoption across Stripe’s services.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of technical experience.
• 5+ years in a strategic technical leadership role.
• Experience leading engineering teams on API design, abstractions, frameworks, or client libraries.
• Hands-on experience building infrastructure and products for internal or external customers.
• Proven track record of delivering pragmatic solutions that accelerate business growth.
• Ability to translate high-level conversations to detailed coding.
• Autonomy and responsibility in delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication across audiences.
• Proficiency in Java, Ruby, Python or Go.
