Tektronix is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to serve as a technical lead for architecture, design, validation, and delivery of advanced test and measurement systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience designing complex electronic hardware systems from architecture through production.
• Deep expertise in high-speed, analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuit design.
• Strong PCB design, signal integrity, power integrity, and hardware bring-up/debug.
• Experience with RF, timebase, precision timing, or frequency-sensitive circuits.
• Proficiency with SPI, I²C, DDR, PCIe or similar high-speed interfaces.
• Laboratory characterization and debugging with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, implementation, validation of complex PCB-based hardware.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices across teams.
• Lead system-level electrical architecture for next-gen instrumentation platforms.
• Design high-speed, analog, mixed-signal, RF, and digital circuits with SI/PI focus.
• Develop RF/timebase/precision timing circuitry with low jitter and synchronization.
• Apply transmission line theory, impedance control, and precision measurement techniques.
• Lead root-cause analysis and debugging of board- and subsystem-level issues.
• Drive hardware architecture tradeoffs balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with systems, FPGA, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams.
• Lead design reviews, architecture reviews, DFx, and continuous improvement.
