ZenPoint Solutions LLC is seeking a Technical Lead to steer technical execution across a federal program, mentoring engineers and driving software delivery in a hybrid Washington, DC work environment. The role requires U.S.

citizenship, an active Secret clearance eligibility, and a bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5+ years of hands-on software development, plus experience with Java, Python, and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship required and ability to obtain SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum of five years hands-on software development experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in Java and Python.
• Proven experience with enterprise cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency with DevOps orchestration tools, including Jenkins and Git-based CI systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
• Experience delivering software using Agile/SAFe or hybrid methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction, mentorship, and problem resolution across software development, system architecture, and DevSecOps workstreams.
• Drive system architecture designs toward loosely coupled system-of-systems implementations utilizing microservices, event-driven patterns, and modular design principles.
• Oversee shared tools, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Nexus) to enforce continuous integration, automated testing, and secure code delivery.
• Implement and maintain software quality logic gates and automated scans using SonarQube, Nexus IQ, and static/dynamic code analysis platforms.
• Collaborate with development teams to accelerate modern build-and-replace modernization strategies and cloud migration initiatives.
• Lead performance engineering strategies, system monitoring (AppDynamics), and environment optimizations across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Streamline Authority to Operate (ATO) maintenance through continuous security checks and RMF automation.
