Job summary

ZenPoint Solutions LLC is seeking a Technical Lead to guide technical execution, mentor engineers, and drive software delivery for a federal program focused on secure, modern enterprise platforms. The role spans legacy and modern systems, Salesforce, and 300+ databases with over 120 releases annually.

The position requires active Secret clearance eligibility, a BA in CS, and 5+ years in software development plus experience with Java/Python, AWS/Azure, and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on software development experience
• Demonstrated expertise in modern programming and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python)
• Proven experience with enterprise cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Proficiency with DevOps orchestration tools, including Jenkins and Git-based CI systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and technical problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
• Experience delivering software using Agile, SAFe, or hybrid methodologies
• Ability to mentor team members and to resolve complex technical challenges

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction, mentorship, and problem resolution across software development, system architecture, and DevSecOps workstreams
• Drive system architecture designs toward loosely coupled system-of-systems implementations utilizing microservices, event-driven patterns, and modular design principles
• Oversee shared tools, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Nexus) to enforce continuous integration, automated testing, and secure code delivery
• Implement and maintain software quality logic gates and automated scans using SonarQube, Nexus IQ, and static/dynamic code analysis platforms
• Collaborate with development teams to accelerate modern build-and-replace modernization strategies and cloud migration initiatives
• Lead performance engineering strategies, system monitoring (AppDynamics), and environment optimizations across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Streamline Authority to Operate (ATO) maintenance through continuous security checks and Risk Management Framework (RMF) automation
