Job summary

ZenPoint Solutions LLC in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Lead Technical Subject Matter Expert for a federal program. You will guide system architecture migrations, manage key management infrastructure, and enforce federal security standards in a high-availability enterprise environment.

The role requires active Secret clearance, SCI eligibility, and a hybrid work arrangement with visits to the customer site as needed. Strong background in PKI, RMF, and zero-trust is preferred.

Qualifications

• Citizen of the United States with proof of citizenship.
• 15+ years of experience in software architecture migrations and large-scale IT modernization.
• Master-level fluency in multiple programming and scripting languages: Groovy, Java, Bash, PowerShell, C++, C#, T-SQL, PL/SQL.
• Hands-on proficiency in Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Proven expertise managing GitLab Enterprise, Nexus Repository Manager, SonarQube, and ACCELQ.
• Track record supporting diverse software development environments and rapid ad-hoc prototyping.
• Strong understanding of TCP/UDP protocols and OSI network debugging.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative guidance on legacy system modernization and enterprise architectures.
• Lead configuration, maintenance, and optimization for core software quality and repository tools.
• Deliver Tier 3 advanced technical support for shared infrastructure including KMI, encryption, and 24x7 key management.
• Drive R&D and prototyping of next-gen tech like big data analytics and biometric identity platforms.
• Provide security engineering expertise aligned with federal standards (NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, Zero Trust).
• Develop technical materials and participate in standards bodies (OASIS, NIEM).
• Perform low-level protocol debugging across TCP/UDP and OSI stacks.
