Job summary

ZenPoint Solutions is seeking a Lead Subject Matter Expert to act as the technical authority for a federal program, guiding architecture migrations, key management, and cybersecurity engineering to reduce technical debt and strengthen defenses.

The role requires active Secret clearance, SCI eligibility, and 15+ years of large-scale IT modernization experience, with fluency in multiple programming languages and tools. Hybrid work in Washington, DC is expected.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/hold clearance.
• 15+ years in software architecture migrations and IT modernization.
• Master-level fluency in multiple programming languages.
• Experience across Windows and RHEL environments.
• Experience with GitLab Enterprise, Nexus, SonarQube, ACCELQ.
• Strong knowledge of PKI, digital signatures, and PII handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative guidance on legacy modernization, architecture blueprints, and roadmaps.
• Lead configuration and optimization of core software tools.
• Deliver Tier 3 support for critical shared infrastructure and key management operations.
• Drive evaluation and prototyping of next-gen technologies.
• Ensure security engineering aligns with NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, Zero Trust.
