Summary Join a stable and growing company on a long-term Federal project supporting wildland fire management systems. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical direction and daily development planning for a mission-critical data integration platform used across multiple federal agencies. Work remotely with limited travel. Top salary for highly qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning and implementation of development user stories per iteration
• Track and manage daily core development tasks
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and development team in Agile ceremonies
• Provide guidance and prototyping for system enhancements and integrations
• Support Esri ArcGIS and AWS-hosted environments, coordinating cloud integration efforts
• Ensure code quality, test coverage, and adherence to coding standards
• Coordinate with core and extended teams to align development with interagency needs
• Ensure system security and compliance in collaboration with Cyber Engineer and Managed Services Lead
  
  

Qualifications - Required

• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership on Agile software teams
• 2+ years of experience facilitating Agile ceremonies
• Strong background in developing and maintaining API-driven, cloud-hosted systems
• Experience planning and managing development tasks in Agile environments
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube, automated test suites)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  
  

Qualifications - Highly Desired

• Experience with Esri ArcGIS technologies (ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro)
• Knowledge of geospatial schema design and spatial data integration
• Prior experience supporting interagency or federal government systems
• Experience coordinating across multidisciplinary teams (cybersecurity, hosting, implementation)
• CSM or other Agile or Scrum certification(s)
  
  

Compensation $113,000-$147,000 annually based on capability and experience

Other Location: Remote Telecommuting: 100% Hours: Full Time
