A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst responsible for optimizing the chargemaster and improving financial processes. The role involves developing pricing strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining charge integrity across departments. The Senior Financial Analyst serves as the subject matter expert responsible for the strategic management, oversight, and optimization of the hospitals Chargemaster (CDM). Ensures accurate charge capture, regulatory compliance, and revenue optimization across all hospital departments. Supports the organization with revenue and charging related questions as well as proper research and setup of charge processes and pricing to ensure accurate & timely charging. Coordinates and implements the enterprise chargemaster and audit initiatives and processes to ensure revenue management integrity. The Senior Financial Analyst fosters collaboration across functions to improve financial processes and align financial strategies with departmental and organizational goals.
This is a remote opportunity; however, the selected candidate must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin and have the ability to work onsite in St. Paul, MN as needed.
The annual salary range for this opportunity is $86,257 / annually to $129,396 / annually, with a median salary of $107,827 / annually. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees. Primary Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and charge protocols, including interpretation of regulatory guidelines.
Maintain and update the Charge Description Master (CDM) across multiple service lines in accordance with internal policies, payer requirements, and governmental regulations (e.g., CMS, HIPAA).
Build strong partnerships across assigned functions and departments, fostering collaboration to align financial strategies with organizational objectives. Serve as a liaison between clinical departments, billing, compliance, and finance teams to resolve charge capture issues.
Ensuring accurate information to support Medicare cost reports, cost accounting, monthly KPIs and year-end audits.
