Arrcus in San Jose, CA/US is hiring for a Technical Lead in Network Platform Software Development. The role focuses on designing data-path solutions for L3/L2 networking, QoS implementation, and Linux kernel enhancements, working across Linux, kernel, and containerized environments.

You will lead high-impact work with ASIC technologies, P4, DPDK, BCM SDK, and modern virtualization methods, requiring strong C/C++/Go/Python skills and 8+ years in networking software.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Engineering, CS or equivalent.
• 8+ years in networking software development.
• Proficient in C/C++/Go/Python programming.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data-path solutions for L3 and L2 networking technologies.
• Architect and implement QoS features: queueing, classification, policing, shaping, ACL, ECN, WRED.
• Work with ASIC families and develop software using BCM SDK, P4, and DPDK.
• Optimize Linux networking internals and memory management.
• Develop and maintain high-availability solutions and ISSU.
• Contribute to Debian packaging and kernel networking stack optimizations.
• Develop software for containerized and virtualized networking environments.
