Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking an Oracle DBA with Exadata and GoldenGate experience to manage Oracle database environments across production, DR, and non-production systems. The role involves installations, upgrades, patches, migrations, cloning, and proactive performance tuning.

You will ensure security, compliance, and data integrity, implement backup/recovery strategies, and develop automation for routine tasks. On-call rotation and collaboration with cross-functional teams are required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Expertise with Oracle versions 11g, 12c, 19c and higher.
• Experience in installation, upgrades, migrations, patching and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Exadata components and GoldenGate replication.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Expertise in Oracle Database versions 11g, 12c, 19c, and higher.
• Strong experience in database installation, configuration, upgrades, migration, patching, and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
• Expertise in performance tuning, SQL tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience with backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Knowledge of Oracle database security, user management, auditing, and compliance requirements.

Oracle Exadata Administration

• Experience managing Exadata storage cells, compute nodes, and InfiniBand networks.
• Expertise in Exadata performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience with Exadata patching, upgrades, and health monitoring.
• Strong understanding of Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, Hybrid Columnar Compression, and Exadata-specific features.
• 5-6 years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle GoldenGate.
• Experience configuring real-time database replication and synchronization.
• Expertise in GoldenGate installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience in heterogeneous and homogeneous database replication environments.
• Ability to monitor and resolve replication latency and data consistency issues.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
