Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Technical Lead to own the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications. You will ensure integration between UI and backend services and provide technical leadership across the team.

You will mentor engineers, drive code quality and architecture decisions, and collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into robust solutions. Strong leadership and Java/Spring Boot expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading development teams on complex projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Java and Spring Boot with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong front-end fundamentals (JavaScript/ES6+).
• Proficient with Git version control and modern development workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of end-to-end web applications using Java Spring Boot APIs (back end).
• Architect and oversee scalable, secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Oversee RESTful API integration between frontend and backend systems for seamless communication.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical leadership and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to define and implement new features aligning with business needs.
• Define technical architecture, coding standards, and technology stack direction.
• Develop and maintain reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Ensure CI/CD practices are followed for consistent delivery.
• Work with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying innovative solutions to drive the project.
• Advocate for QA, review test cases and support UAT processes.
