Job summary

Capgemini seeks an experienced Technical Lead to oversee enterprise application development and management. You will guide 5-10 backend engineers, drive architecture using Java, Scala, Spring Boot, and microservices, and ensure scalable, secure delivery across cloud environments in a Hybrid Atlanta setting.

Strong Agile delivery skills, CI/CD leadership, and excellent stakeholder communication are essential to align product features with business goals and to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development and application management experience.
• Proven experience leading backend engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Scala, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with lifecycle management, code reviews, and release processes.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud-based environments and services.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage application development and enhancement teams of 5-10 backend engineers.
• Oversee design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
• Drive technical solutions using Java, Scala, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Lead enhancements, change management, and production support activities.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, SMEs, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
