Capgemini is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Atlanta, GA to design, build, and deploy scalable solutions across the stack. You will contribute to backend services in Java and front-end interfaces with React, delivering reliable applications with cloud-native architectures.

The role emphasizes microservices, API design, and AI-enabled features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance client experiences and drive innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Java, API, and distributed apps using Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Frontend experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of AI APIs for implementing AI use cases.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and multithreading.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Java.
• Write code to build complex core components and frameworks.
• Develop cloud-native solutions using Spring Boot and microservices.
• Build responsive frontend apps using React and related tech.
• Work with REST/GraphQL APIs and event-driven architecture.
