Capgemini is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to provide technical leadership across Core Services teams. This senior role shapes architecture, sets engineering standards, and ensures a scalable, reliable platform across the domain.

You will define the technical vision, drive microservices design and production readiness, and mentor engineers to foster engineering excellence within a collaborative, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years backend software engineering with multiple teams or a major domain
• Deep JVM expertise with strong Java
• Experience with microservices at scale in production
• Spring Framework/Spring Boot knowledge including REST APIs and DI
• Reactive/concurrent frameworks like Play, Akka or similar
• Hands-on with Kafka and event-driven architectures

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision, architecture, and standards across teams
• Design, build, and evolve scalable microservices
• Lead cross-team architectural initiatives for Core Services
• Guide on production reliability and operational excellence
• Mentor senior engineers and tech leads
• Escalation point for complex multi-team challenges
