HighLevel is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to oversee our engineering team and drive architectural vision for scalable, high-quality products. You will shape technical direction, plan projects, and ensure delivery aligned with business goals.

As a Technical Lead, you will mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust platforms. This role offers remote-friendly environment and opportunities to impact millions of businesses

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a management role.
• Experience with Node.js and Vue.js (or React/Angular).
• Experience scaling services to support at least 200,000 MAUs.
• Expertise with MongoDB, including sharding and indexing.
• Proficiency with Message Queues and asynchronous communication patterns.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to design cost-efficient, scalable architectures aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, cost-effective solutions aligned with the company’s technical vision.
• Implement complex and critical components of the platform, ensuring robustness and performance.
• Take ownership of project delivery timelines, coordinating end-to-end development processes.
• Manage product releases by pre-planning, scaling infrastructure, and ensuring smooth deployment.
• Provide technical leadership by setting clear goals, coaching team members, and fostering professional growth.
• Conduct regular design and code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of technical initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve platform capabilities.
