Job summary

HighLevel is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to manage a growing team of engineers. You will inspire the team to achieve performance metrics, build robust products, and contribute to strategy and project management.

You will oversee architecture decisions, major implementations, delivery timelines, and scalable releases while mentoring and coaching engineers to maintain high code quality and solid collaboration across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with 1+ years of management experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js and Vue.js (or React/Angular).
• Experience scaling services to 200k+ MAUs.
• Strong people, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Architecture: Design the architecture and make sure it is cost-efficient and aligned with the overall architectural vision.
• Implementation: Implement major/complex parts of the product.
• Ownership: Take ownership of the delivery timeline and coordinate the complete development of products.
• Releases: Take ownership of the product releases and pre-plan and scale the infrastructure accordingly.
• Leadership: Communicate clear goals, provide constructive feedback, and manage, coach, and support the engineering team.
• Quality: Maintain high standards of code quality through regular design and code reviews.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js and Vue.js (or React/Angular).
• Experience with scaling the services to at least 200k+ MAUs.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field of study.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with 1+ years of management experience.
• Expertise with MongoDB and fluency with sharding and indexing.
• Proficiency in Message Queues.
• Strong people, communication, and problem-solving skills.
