Job summary

ZenPoint Solutions LLC in Washington, DC seeks a Technical Lead to drive software delivery for a federal program. You will mentor engineers, shape system architectures, and advance DevSecOps practices across multiple platforms.

The role requires active Secret clearance eligibility, 5+ years of software development, and strong Java/Python expertise. Hybrid work with on-site reporting to DC as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on software development experience.
• Expertise in Java and Python.
• Experience with enterprise cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency with DevOps tools including Jenkins and Git-based CI systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
• Experience delivering software using Agile, SAFe, or hybrid methodologies.
• Ability to mentor team members and resolve complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction, mentorship, and problem resolution across software development, system architecture, and DevSecOps workstreams.
• Drive architecture designs toward loosely coupled system-of-systems with microservices and event-driven patterns.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Nexus) to enforce CI, automated testing, and secure delivery.
• Implement and maintain software quality gates and automated scans (SonarQube, Nexus IQ).
• Collaborate to accelerate modernization strategies and cloud migration initiatives.
• Lead performance engineering and environment optimization across the SDLC (AppDynamics).
• Streamline ATO maintenance through RMF automation and ongoing security checks.
