Job summary

ClearFocus Technologies seeks a Technical Lead / Chief Security Architect-Eng for an onsite role in Washington, DC. The senior authority guides architecture methodology, threat modeling, and standards for government and commercial clients.

The position requires 15+ years of enterprise security experience, a Master’s degree, and one of several senior security certifications, with the ability to obtain Tier 4 / High Risk Public Trust.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise security architecture.
• Demonstrated threat modeling practice with defensible methodology.
• Authoring security reference architectures and patterns across an enterprise.
• Ability to brief architecture decisions to senior Government stakeholders.
• One of PMP, IAT III, IAM III or IASAE III.
• Able to obtain a Tier 4 / High Risk Public Trust.

Job Description –

The senior technical authority on the task order and the owner of architecture methodology. Leads security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and standards and requirements development, and sets the engineering design review approach the rest of the team executes against.

Required qualifications:

• Enterprise security architecture at federal-agency scale, not single-system design
• Demonstrated threat modeling practice and a defensible methodology behind it
• Authoring security reference architectures and patterns adopted across an enterprise
• Briefing architecture decisions to senior Government stakeholders
• 15+ years of experience and a Master’s degree in a relevant field
• One of the following certifications - PMP, IAT III, IAM III or IASAE III
• Able to obtain a Tier 4 / High Risk Public Trust

Preferred qualifications:

• Zero Trust architecture at a federal agency
• SABSA, TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework credential
• Experience with the VA Technical Reference Model
