Job summary

AJ Rose Manufacturing in Avon, OH seeks an experienced CNC / Metal Spinning Technologist to lead and mentor within our manufacturing operations. This role focuses on troubleshooting, training junior operators, and driving continuous improvement across CNC and metal spinning processes.

The ideal candidate will serve as a technical resource, collaborating with engineering and operations to establish best practices, document changes, and support workforce development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC machine operation and programming.
• Knowledge of quality standards and procedures.
• OSHA basic safety training.
• Basic principles of electrical and pneumatic mechanics.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment to correct in-process problems.
• Assist engineering in installation, start-up, and operating specifications for modified or new equipment.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and maintain records of equipment performance.
• Document installation, testing, and application of new technology or equipment modifications.
• Recommend equipment improvements based on performance and history.
• Coordinate required and emergency equipment maintenance.
