Job summary

AJ Rose Manufacturing is seeking a senior CNC Programmer III to lead programming, setup, and operation of high-precision parts on multiple CNC platforms. You will create optimized programs, interpret complex drawings, select tooling, and ensure tight tolerances while mentoring junior machinists.

The role emphasizes leadership, troubleshooting, and process improvement to boost quality and efficiency. A strong background in Fanuc/Haas/Siemens controls and CAD/CAM tools is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Strong G-code programming skills and experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens controls.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and multi-axis machining.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and machine complex parts.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and/or Wire EDM machines.
• Create and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters for complex jobs.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot machining, programming, and tooling issues.
• Improve processes to increase quality and efficiency.
• Train and support less experienced machinists.
• Maintain documentation and follow all safety and quality standards.
