Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead for the Central Maintenance machine shop in the North Cove area. The role focuses on setting up and operating CNC and manual machines, fabricating parts, and supporting maintenance and repair of production components.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of machining or a 2-year Machinist degree, strong blueprint reading skills, and proficiency with Mastercam, G-Zero, and AutoCAD. On-site work with safety and 6S discipline is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years machining experience or 2-year Machinist degree.
• Proficient in Blue Print reading; GDT experience a plus.
• Experience with HAAS, MATSUURA, FEDAL or DAEWOO equipment.
• Read and write G code using G-Zero and Mastercam.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate North Cove machine shop equipment safely and efficiently (milling, lathe, grinders).
• Machine parts within tolerances per blueprints and drawings.
• Fabricate parts for maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of production components.
• Machine stock room parts to support equipment and processes.
• Provide on-the-job training for registered apprentices as assigned.
