Job summary

Cambridge Valley Machining, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee and execute advanced maintenance for CNC machines and facility systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, reliability improvements, and safe, efficient production operations. The candidate will diagnose, repair, and optimize CNC tooling, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and lubrication systems while mentoring technicians and coordinating with production, engineering, and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum seven (7) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machine tools.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and respond effectively to changing production demands.
• Proficiency using computers and standard Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot CNC controls, machine electronics, drives, motors, sensors, and associated systems.
• Respond to equipment failures and restore production equipment to safe operating condition in a timely manner.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with outside contractors and service providers as required.
