Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead for the Behind-the-Meter (BTM) Power Generation team in Houston, TX.

You will provide senior technical leadership across brownfield and greenfield projects, coordinating studies, engineering analyses, and design efforts for diverse generation sources including natural gas, hydrogen, solar, and energy storage. Responsibilities include leading complex workstreams, managing teams, ensuring quality and safety, and delivering high-impact technical

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in engineering required.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring engineering projects.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
Strong communication and client management skills.
Experience with brownfield and greenfield projects in industrial, commercial, government, and data center sectors.

Responsibilities

Lead complex technical workstreams and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects.
Coordinate engineering studies, develop sound technical recommendations and project deliverables.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, quality and safety to meet client expectations.
Serve as SME for assigned projects, resolve technical issues and communicate with clients and leadership.
