Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead for the Behind-the-Meter (BTM) Power Generation team to provide senior-level engineering leadership.

You will guide complex workstreams, manage studies, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across brownfield and greenfield projects involving natural gas, hydrogen, diesel, solar, energy storage, and hybrid systems. You will ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while delivering sound technical recommendations and client-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering required.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer license (P.E.) required or ability to obtain.
• Experience with power generation, microgrids, and interconnection studies.

Responsibilities

• Develop project execution plans defining technical workflows and deliverables.
• Serve as SME, resolving complex engineering issues and guiding teams.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces to prevent scope gaps and conflicts.
• Ensure documentation readiness for procurement, construction and commissioning.
