Job summary

FirstPRO 360 seeks a hands-on technical leader to own the direction of a core engineering domain. You will set architecture, write production code, and lead a small team while partnering with product and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities include owning technical direction, writing and reviewing production code, mentoring engineers, and planning migrations without disrupting the business. You will raise the bar on testing, observability, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in PHP with strong object-oriented design skills.
• Working knowledge of C#; Laravel or .NET experience is a plus.
• Strong SQL Server tuning, indexing, and data modeling abilities.
• Experience with domain-driven design, API design and versioning, and migrating off legacy systems.
• Has substantial experience building and operating production software and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction, including architecture, standards, and prioritization.
• Write and review production code.
• Lead and grow engineers through one-on-ones and mentoring.
• Break large problems into incremental deliverables and plan legacy system migrations without disrupting the business.
• Raise the bar on testing, code review, observability, and documentation.
