Job summary

The University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital is seeking a Technical Coordinator/Medical Technologist to lead day-to-day supervision of testing personnel and ensure accurate reporting of test results in a high‑complex testing environment.

Under the direction of the Laboratory Director, you will plan workflow, enforce CLIA requirements, and coordinate staff training to maintain compliance with accrediting bodies. California licensure and 4+ years supervisory MT experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science with completion of a one-year internship in Medical Technology or equivalent or higher degree is a requirement.
• Have earned an associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Annually evaluating and documenting the performance of all testing personnel.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of testing personnel and reporting of test results.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting and licensing agencies' requirements.
• Coordinate continuing education activities and training for staff.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree + 1-year internship in Medical Technology or equivalent
