Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Atlas Copco IAS technical or service experience.
• Strong understanding of Atlas Copco IAS products, technologies, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Execute all obligations associated with assigned Service Agreements.
• Support customer production needs and maintain strong plant-level relationships.
• Manage and track open service issues, repairs, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Service Operations, Repair Centers, and Inside Sales to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Deliver monthly operational reviews and KPI reporting as required.
• Drive customer satisfaction and retention.
• Act as the technical local growth leader for Atlas Copco IAS by identifying, developing, and supporting opportunities across all product and service offerings.
• Identify and develop opportunities for SLA, New Equipment Sales, Spare Parts, Repairs, Equipment Retrofits and Upgrades, Software Solutions, Technical Training Programs, and Process Optimization.
• Serve as the primary local Atlas Copco IAS representative within assigned facilities.
• Build relationships with maintenance, engineering, production, purchasing, and management personnel.
• Conduct routine plant walks to identify improvement/business opportunities.
• Uncover customer pain points and develop value-based solutions.
• Promote Atlas Copco IAS capabilities across all technologies and product lines.
• Support Key Account Managers and Regional Sales Teams with customer strategy and account development.
• Maintain an active pipeline of identified opportunities.
• Document and track opportunities within CRM.
• Provide monthly business development updates and forecasts.
• Generate leads and introductions for Atlas Copco sales teams.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Service Operations, and Product Specialists to convert opportunities into orders.
• Serve as the local technical resource for Atlas Copco IAS technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
• Support implementation of new products, software, and service offerings.
• Educate customers on best practices and emerging technologies.
• Act as the voice of the customer by communicating market feedback, competitive activity, and customer needs.

Your role

The Technical Service & Business Development Manager Specialist serves as the primary local Atlas Copco IAS technical and commercial representative within assigned customer facilities. This role is responsible for successfully executing existing Service Agreements while proactively identifying, developing, and driving growth opportunities across the entire Atlas Copco IAS portfolio.

Leveraging strong technical expertise and customer relationships, the Technical Service & Business Development Manager Specialist acts as a trusted advisor to maintenance, engineering, production, and plant leadership teams. The position is focused on protecting existing business, enhancing customer satisfaction, and expanding Atlas Copco IAS revenue through Service Agreements, Spare Parts, Repairs, Software, Retrofits, Training, and New Equipment opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

Contract Execution & Customer Support
