Job summary

Stantec's Houston office is seeking a Mid-Level Technical Interior Designer to translate client needs into cohesive interior design solutions. The role includes producing 2D/3D drawings, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and guiding BIM development with supervision as needed.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in Interior Design, licensure or active pursuit, a strong portfolio, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Newforma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Interior Design or related field.
• Licensed or pursuing Interior Design Licensure.
• Portfolio and sample drawings required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs and construction documents.
• Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, and vendors to meet objectives.
• Produce design and construction drawings.
• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Lead the project delivery team to meet the client’s schedule.
• Advocate for design excellence and sustainability within interior design.
