Zusammenfassung

Vertiv is seeking a field service technician to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and break-fix support for UPS, PDU, and battery systems at customer sites. You will travel to sites, perform scheduled tasks, document work, and maintain tools and safety compliance.

The role requires basic electrical knowledge, strong communication, and willingness to lift heavy equipment. Weekend/evening work may be required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years relevant industry experience or 2–4 years military technical experience.
• Basic electrical/electronics knowledge and familiarity with test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs.
• Good communication, documentation, and computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Aufgaben

• Use electrical/electronic test equipment and follow technical manuals and procedures.
• Complete service reports, timecards, expense reports, inventory counts, and other documentation.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, PPE, and equipment.
• Ensure safety procedures and Vertiv policies are followed.
• Work independently or under supervision depending on training and experience.
• Maintain strong customer communication and aim for first-time equipment fixes.
• Travel to customer sites and work flexible schedules, including weekends/evenings when required.
