Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is recruiting for a Technical Inside Sales Specialist to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will initiate contact with prospects, qualify opportunities, and collaborate with channel partners to close deals.

The role develops future leaders within the company and offers exposure to sales paths such as outside sales, account management, and leadership roles as you grow.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year minimum of sales experience.
  • 1 year minimum of proven inside sales experience OR ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM preferred.
  • Outgoing, self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong work ethic and coachable attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads (website, calls, referrals).
  • Follow up on leads with outbound calls and emails to prospective partners.
  • Obtain detailed information on customer needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to grow and share best practices.
  • Route qualified opportunities to sales executives for closure.
  • Maintain leads in the CRM system.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Technical Inside Sales Specialist Role

The Technical Inside Sales Specialist will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The individual in the role must be comfortable discovering new opportunities through the phone or email, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales. This position is designed to develop people to grow within the company as an outside sales rep, account manager, manager, etc.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions): The main duties and responsibilities.
  • Directly source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up. leads through inbound website leads, inbound calls, customer referrals, construction site databases. Business is booming and we need more people to follow up on current and incoming leads.
  • Make outbound cold-delete calls and emails to prospective business partners.
  • Obtain detailed information on customer needs and requirements.
  • Work closely with channel partners to maintain, grow, and share best practices.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • Work within CRM system to turn generation leads into business partners.
  • Perform related work and additional duties as requested/assigned by supervisor.
Work Environment
  • Ability to regularly access and use general office equipment including phones, computers, copiers, etc.
  • Must be able to work in a busy, often distracting work environment that is generally climate controlled.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Must occasionally work evenings and variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Qualifications
Education, Experience and Skills:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: (Required minimum of years of relevant experience.)
    • 1 year minimum of sales experience
    • 1 year minimum of proven inside sales experience OR ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills
    • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM preferred
