Opti Staffing is hiring for a Technical Inside Sales – Process Controls & Instrumentation in Ridgefield, WA and Woodland, WA. This onsite, full-time role supports customers and sales representatives with technical guidance, pricing, and order qualification.

The ideal candidate has technical education or hands-on industry experience, plus strong communication and problem‑solving abilities to interpret specifications and recommend solutions. Compensation up to $40/hr DOE.

Qualifications

Technical education in instrumentation, automation, controls, or related field or hands-on experience.
Experience with technical or industrial products.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Able to read pricing, quotes, orders and product information.

Responsibilities

Provide technical, application, and product support to customers and sales reps.
Help customers identify products and solutions for their applications.
Provide pricing, availability, and delivery information.
Review incoming orders for proper product selection and application.
Support Outside Sales with lead qualification and follow-up.
Review technical documents, bid specs, and project requirements.
Assist with quotes, proposals, and project bids.
Respond to technical and product-related questions from customers and sales reps.
Communicate clearly with customers throughout quoting and ordering.
Troubleshoot issues and identify practical solutions.
Work independently while collaborating with the broader sales/technical team.
Suggest ideas to improve processes and customer experience.
