Johnson Screens is seeking an Inside Sales Technician I to support the sales team in Bakersfield, CA. You will handle customer inquiries, provide technical product information, and prepare quotes, while coordinating with engineering, logistics, and production to fulfill orders.

The role requires 1–3 years in inside sales or related areas, strong communication, and detail-oriented organization. Onsite hours 8am-5pm; base salary $75,000–$80,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of inside sales, customer service, technical support, manufacturing, or industrial business experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide timely follow-up in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and understand product specifications and applications.
• Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP systems (SAP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries, provide technical product information, and ensure customers' needs are met.
• Interpret customer drawings and specifications.
• Recommend products based on application requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, logistics, and production to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and product recommendations for customers.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and ERP systems for customer information and order tracking.
• Proactively follow up on quotes, orders, and customer interactions to ensure satisfaction.
• Actively cross-sell & promote products.
