Job summary

Johnson Screens, a brand of Aqseptence, seeks an Inside Sales Technician I to support the sales team in Bakersfield, CA. This office-based role focuses on handling inquiries, sharing technical product information, and guiding customers through the order process.

You will work with engineering, logistics, and production to fulfill orders, prepare quotes, and maintain CRM and ERP records. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in related roles, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple

• 1–3 years in inside sales, customer service, technical support, manufacturing, or industrial business experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide timely follow-up in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn and understand product specifications and applications.
• Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP systems (SAP) is preferred.

What You’ll Do

The Inside Sales Technician I supports the sales team in driving revenue growth by handling customer inquiries, assisting with technical product information, and facilitating the sales process. This role requires collaboration with multiple departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of solutions. This position reports into the Inside Sales Manager.

• Respond to customer inquiries, provide technical product information, and ensure customers' needs are met.
• Interpret customer drawings and specifications.
• Recommend products based on application requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, logistics, and production to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and product recommendations for customers.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and ERP systems for customer information and order tracking.
• Proactively follow up on quotes, orders, and customer interactions to ensure satisfaction.
• Actively cross-sell & promote products.
• Able to adhere to Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality System Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Work Instructions as it applies to the position.
• Perform various other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Compensation

Base salary range of $75,000-$80,000
