Job summary

The Fountain Group in Frisco, TX seeks a Technical Infrastructure/Data Center Project Lead with a very strong networking background. This hybrid, 12 1/2 month contract involves coordinating large-scale data center deployments and migrations, while hands-on troubleshooting and leading cross-functional teams.

You will guide networking, storage, security, cloud, and data center operations, ensuring enterprise compute and storage deployments align with business needs and mission-critical

Qualifications

• Advanced networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, LTM/GTM, SSH, VPNs, and routing protocols (RIP, BGP, OSPF).
• Configure/troubleshoot QOS, VLANs, ACLs with NetFlow and monitoring tools.
• IPv4/IPv6, IP addressing, DNS/DHCP, NTP, security and network monitoring.
• SDN/SD-WAN experience and structured cabling knowledge.
• Hands-on with switches from HPE Aruba, 3Com, H3C, Arista, Juniper; and security devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise infrastructure deliverables from initiation through closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across networking, storage, security, cloud, and data center operations.
• Plan and deliver large-scale data center compute and storage deployments, migrations, and refresh initiatives.
• Understand and apply server, virtualization, storage, and networking technologies in complex data center environments.
• Support mission-critical applications with robust compute and storage platforms.

Job description

Pay: $65-$71.43/hour

Duration:12 1⁄2 months with extensions based on performance and headcount approval

Location: Frisco, TX

Hybrid with 1-2 days in office/week

Seeking a Technical Infrastructure/Data Center Project Lead with a very strong networking background.

Technical Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering large-scale data center infrastructure deployments, migrations and refreshes, while possessing enough hands‑on networking depth to coordinate and troubleshoot complex environments required.

• Lead enterprise infrastructure deliverables from initiation through closure.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across networking, storage, security, cloud, and data center operations.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and delivering large‑scale data center compute and storage deployments, migrations, and refresh initiatives.
• Strong understanding of server, virtualization, storage, and networking technologies, including their dependencies within complex data center environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise data center compute, storage, and infrastructure platforms supporting mission‑critical business applications.

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge and experience with networking components. Eg. TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, DDNS, DHCP, F5 LTM, GTM, SSH, VPNs, IP routing protocols including RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS, etc.
• Configure/troubleshoot QOS, VLANs, ACL, using troubleshooting tools like Netflow, Solarwinds, and various application response time monitoring tools
• IPv4 and IPv6 experience is must and Strong understanding of network infrastructure, IP addressing, IP traffic management, DNS/DHCP, NTP, Security and Network Monitoring tools
• Experience with SDN, SD-WAN products and services, Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network facilities.
• Working experience on HPE Aruba, 3com, H3C, Arista and Juniper switches, Palo Alto, Fortinet and Checkpoint Fi
• Strong experience of Working on Juniper and Arista Hardware switches
• Experience of working in the data center network environment
• Strong experience in Leaf & Spine architecture
• Will hands‑on assist in network & equipment problem troubleshooting
