We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Deployment Engineer to oversee the installation, testing, and delivery of critical low-voltage infrastructure within large-scale data center environments.

This position will play a key role in coordinating specialist contractors, maintaining installation quality, and ensuring that network infrastructure is deployed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical specifications and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and deployment of structured cabling, fiber-optic networks, and associated infrastructure across mission-critical facilities.
• Coordinate low-voltage subcontractors, engineering teams, and site operations to ensure installations are completed to the required technical and quality standards.
• Manage installation schedules, contractor activities, equipment deliveries, and site access requirements to support project milestones.
• Perform detailed quality inspections covering equipment racks, cable management, fiber routing, grounding, termination, and identification systems.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and material schedules to verify installations meet approved designs.
• Supervise and validate fiber-optic testing, including OTDR, optical loss measurements, and connectivity performance assessments.
• Ensure copper cabling installations meet applicable performance requirements, including testing and certification of Cat6a and Cat8 systems.
• Provide hands-on technical support during equipment installation, network deployment, troubleshooting, and system verification.
• Identify installation deficiencies, coordinate corrective actions, and resolve technical issues with contractors and engineering stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project records, inspection reports, testing documentation, and updated installation drawings.
• Support final system acceptance, technical handover, and operational readiness of completed infrastructure.
• Promote compliance with industry standards, site safety procedures, and established installation best practices.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting infrastructure deployment within data centers, telecommunications, or other mission-critical environments.
• Strong technical understanding of structured cabling systems, fiber-optic infrastructure, and network equipment installations.
• Practical knowledge of fiber testing methodologies, including OTDR, OLTS, and optical signal performance verification.
• Familiarity with copper network cabling standards and certification equipment.
• Understanding of BICSI guidelines and recognized telecommunications installation standards.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, conducting site inspections, and managing technical installation activities.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

• Previous involvement in hyperscale or large-scale data center construction and deployment projects.
• Experience supporting high-density computing, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise network installations.
• Relevant BICSI, fiber-optic, or network infrastructure certifications.
• Familiarity with contractor quality management, commissioning processes, and infrastructure acceptance testing.
