We are seeking a results-driven Technical Implementation Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Implementation:

• Establish connectivity to customer datasets.
• Analyze complex customer datasets.
• Troubleshoot dataset viability and discrepancies.
• Develop data requirements and custom technical documentation.
• Configure datasets for acceptance into downstream systems.
• Notify stakeholders of implementation status.

Support:

• Provide advanced support for escalated incidents.
• Coordinate complex problem resolution with customers.
• Document incidents via the internal ticketing system.

Implementation Planning:

• Establish technical criteria for implementation viability.
• Create and supply documentation to customers.
• Identify and mitigate performance concerns using SQL Developer and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Develop and implement product deployment strategies.
• Verify customer completion of prerequisites.

Development:

• Identify, document, and develop solutions aligned with business goals.
• Assist in problem identification for the development team.
• Collaborate with customers and third-party providers to improve integrations and processes.
• Develop tools to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical documentation for customers and internal use.

Knowledgebase:

• Create and maintain knowledgebase articles and infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant technical implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of internet fundamentals and protocols (SSO, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with JDBC connection strings.
• Knowledge of relational (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, UniData) databases.
• Basic Linux command line skills; strong Linux skills are a plus.
• Experience with advanced SQL queries.
• Familiarity with LMS and SIS systems such as Blackboard, Moodle, Banner, Peoplesoft, Jenzabar, DataTel/Colleague, Workday, and API integrations.
• Experience with Chrome Developer Tools, APIs, Salesforce or other CRMs.
• Understanding of web application architecture and virtualization technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, expanding organization.
• Work location preferred: hybrid in the greater Chicago area or remote within the USA.
