Job Description
This is a full-time remote position. The West Virginia Grant Resource Centers (WV Grant Centers) assist local government, nonprofits and businesses and other eligible applicants with project development, pitch decks, grant identification and technical writing – to develop economic development across West Virginia and build stronger community capacity. The focus is on the pre-award process to help eligible entities with economic and community development projects, by putting together competitive proposals, and submit complete application packages. The WV Grant Centers are looking for a Technical/Grant Writer with proven ability to work on several projects at once on tight deadlines; facilitate meetings; understand technical writing, deadlines, and grant funding criteria; use creative problem-solving; and design and develop projects. Strong written and oral communication and research skills and a professional, team-oriented mentality are a must. Some travel is required. This is a grant-funded position.
