Job summary

Brooks Instrument, part of ITW, seeks a Technical Field Service Engineer to provide on-site calibration, installation, and troubleshooting at customer sites in Hatfield, PA. You will serve as the primary technical contact, support failures, and deliver training on Brooks products and software.

The role requires a 2-year degree in engineering technology or equivalent and about 5 years of experience with technical service, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or related field.
• ≈5 years of experience servicing complex technical products.
• Experience providing customer-facing technical support.
• Ability to diagnose, test, troubleshoot, and service products using schematics and drawings.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site calibration, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customers after sales.
• Train customers on Brooks products and software.
• Collaborate with Failure Analysis and Engineering on diagnostics.
• Support service software, tools, and documentation.
• Work in-house when not on field service.
