Job summary

Handicap International - Humanity & Inclusion seeks a Technical Field Manager to lead field operations in Deir ez-Zor, Syria. You will provide technical guidance to national teams across mine action activities, oversee planning and reporting, and ensure compliance with international standards.

The role requires 4+ years in humanitarian mine action, EOD/IEDD and IMAS Level 3+ qualifications, and willingness to travel and reside in field deployments.

Qualifications

• Certified EOD and IEDD qualifications required.
• IMAS Level 3+ qualification from an accredited school.
• Minimum 4 years in humanitarian mine action focusing on land release.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for HI project, especially in mine action/land release.
• Ensure activities meet international norms and standards.
• Adapt project documentation to required standards and norms.
• Run technical training for HI staff.
• Maintain technical quality and relevance of project activities.
• Collaborate with global technical divisions and field teams.
• Incorporate audit recommendations and lessons learned.
